JHU Madrid is a Spanish language acquisition program that provides an exceptional educational experience at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) and Universidad Pontificia Comilla-ICAI. The program offers immersion in a Spanish social and academic environment, which is as exciting and rewarding as it is challenging.

Spanish Track: UC3M

The Advance Spanish Program is designed for students with an intermediate level of Spanish to study courses at the International School or direct enroll at the UC3M.

Summer Research Engineering Program

Specifically for students from the Whiting School of Engineering in any major. Placed at labs in UC3M’s Leganés campus or at Comillas, students are paired with research labs in their field of interest. 

English Track: UC3M

The Madrid UC3M Program offers KSAS and WSE students a unique opportunity of living in the vibrant and cosmopolitan city of Madrid while taking courses in English at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M). This program combines academic rigor, cultural immersion, and practical experiences to introduce students to the richness and diversity of Spain.

 

English Track: Comillas-ICAI

SAPIENS was designed by Universidad Pontificia Comillas School of Engineering (ICAI) for U.S. students in collaboration with prestigious U.S. universities.. This academic program is a perfect study abroad opportunity for sophomore students because it meets a variety of general education requirements for STEM majors.
